Career highlights include roles with PwC and Deloitte in London, Hong Kong and Melbourne/Brisbane, executive roles in a mining services business.
Nick is a former partner of a Big 4 practice with over 20 years experience in financial advisory services and restructuring. He subsequently worked in industry as a General Manager of strategy and strategic implementation for a private mining services company. He has also undertaken a CFO role on an interim basis, managing a complex merger.
After many years in public practice Nick came to realise that his real passion is working with clients on the front line, to be in the trenches so to say, actively involved in the delivery of projects and confronting the challenges that many businesses face.
His expertise and capability has been further enhanced by studying a Global Executive MBA at IMD in Switzerland, the world’s leading business school for executive education.
Nick is passionate about helping clients, using his skills and experience to make a difference to a business. He has an open and approachable manner while willing to challenge and test others views. His career experience makes him readily adaptable to most circumstances and well versed to fluid environments. He has an innate ability to integrate in an easy and seamless manner.
Emma is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years professional experience working with businesses in London, Melbourne and Brisbane in Big 4, boutique restructuring and advisory practices and at Royal Bank of Scotland.
Emma has a wide range of skills and experience including improvement initiatives, transaction management, due diligence and restructuring.
Emma’s projects have always maintained a strong focus on addressing the real needs of clients, ensuring clear and regular communication and managing the risks for key stakeholders. Emma is passionate about people – managing stakeholder and employee relationships and mentoring colleagues and junior staff to improve their capability and performance.
Emma joined Fountain as an opportunity to work closely with clients to add value to their business on a day to day basis, working as part of a passionate, highly skilled team.
Katherine is a Chartered Accountant and has a Master of Business Administration from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM).
She began her career in public practice, spending most of the early years in Big 4 firms. After several years in London she returned to Australia and took a role in commerce to broaden and further develop her capability.
Katherine is an experienced commercial and strategy manager with over 10 years’ corporate experience across a range of industries. She is a trusted leader and passionate about business innovation, operational improvements and change management.
